On Mar 21, 2008 the Lee County Sheriff’s Office participated in a Charity Bowl Football Game with the Lee County Firefighters at the Lee Civic Center in North Forth Myers. While participating in the football game Mark Niedermeyer was overwelmed by a medical crisis and ultimately succumbed to it.
